ABOUT ME

My name is Kevin Jackson and I work with words.

I can write on just about any topic, but science will always be my first love. While I was Editor in Chief of Science Node - which is a publication with 50,000 newsletter subscribers - I was able to increase engagement 300% within our newsletter. I've proven to myself, to interviewees, and to clients that I have a keen sense of what readers want and what they need.

I've held just about every job there is in the editorial industry. While my favorite work is with a keyboard and a word processor, I've extended well beyond that in the past. I shoot and edit video, I can conduct interviews with powerful and interesting people, and I know how to deeply research a complicated topic.  

 

Explaining complex technical processes is something that's always excited me, and I've had the opportunity to learn how to hone this skill in a professional setting. I've written targeted email campaigns designed for hundreds of people, and I've captured the attention of hundreds of thousands with broader pieces.
